FY 2012 Election Ballot

Tonight is the night we look toward our club's future.  All current members are able to vote in FY12 elections.  I encourage people to vote in person and come to the social tonight.  I will be ready with ballots at 9pm.  If you are having trouble finding the social give me a call at 414-315-2588.  If you wish to vote via email the ballots are due by 10pm.  There are a few clarifications I need to make.  The vote is binding for voting positions and is a recommendation to the president for non-voting positions.  Traditionally we have kept these off the ballot, however, we are trying to encourage involvement in the club.  This process has allowed many new people to gain interest in working for the club.  If you wish to vote for someone other than listed then you may write/type them in.  If you would like to run for a positions yourself, send an email to the social list social@hooferscubclub.org with you name, what position, and why tonight prior to the end of voting.
Finally, we have 3 positions essential to the club that must be filled.  Hoofer Council Representative (must be a current student) is a liaison between the club and Hoofers/Union.  Works on Hoofers projects and helps find funding for the club.  Both of the VP-Trips positions are very important to the club, and are a lot of fun.  If you are student looking to get more involve, both of these positions would be great for you.  There are monetary incentives for the club if these are filled and 2/3 voting positions are students.
